Japanese words to English:

Seiza – Formal Sitting Posture
Mokuso – Closed Eye Meditation
Yame – Stop
Shomen-Ni-Rei – Bow To The Front (Center)
Sensei-Ni-Rei – Bow To The Instructor
Otagai-Ni-Rei – Bow To Each Other
Yoi – Ready
Hajime – Begin
Kamaete – Into The Posture (Position)
Naore – Relax
Kaette – Turn Around
Kata – Forms (Pre-Arranged Movements)
Kihon-waza – Basic Techniques
Kumite – Sparring
Sanbon-Gumite – Three Step Sparring
Ippon-Gumite – One Step Sparring
Jiyu-Kumite – Free Style Sparring

COUNTING:
Ichi – One

A signed copy of this form is required for each LKC student under the age of 18, completed by a parent or guardian, even if you don’t wish LKC to use your child’s image on any of the platforms listed.
